​​​Torrey Pines Pet People has been in the works for decades. As a young child I knew that I was happiest surrounded by and caring for animals, however, the call and security of the corporate world won out over my innate interest and passion.  Shortly after arriving in San Diego, from Vancouver, Canada, I discovered Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve and decided that I would never live more than a short drive away from this special place.  As a workaholic who was missing out on seeing my own family, and as someone who found it very hard to leave our 2-3 doggies in someone elses hands, I knew that I could combine my passion for helping others and provide exceptional care for their pets. Twenty years later I finally decided that it was time to follow my heart and focus on caring for other peoples' precious pets. 

 

Jon has followed a similar path.  From his time helping with the dolphins at Sea World, to working and playing at Torrey Pines Golf Club, to his success as a VP in the corporate world, he, too, has always had doggies, and has felt a keen desire to assist with TPPP, and help doggies live their best lives, out of the house, in nature.  If you need someone for a pack walk, an early morning walk or a jogging partner for your pup - he's definitely your guy.

 

Those two handsome young men in the photo are our children, Brandon and David.  Along with them, we have a handful of other responsible and loving pet people involved in the business who share our love and passion for pets and people.

​TPPP was created to give dogs more than just a walk. It was designed to give them some adventure, personalized attention and love, and to provide their pet parents the peace of mind to go about their day knowing that their beloved pets are not only getting exercise and enrichment, they (and your home) are in trusted and loving hands.  ​​​

When your dog is with us, they are family.  They are part of the pack.  Every adventure is built on trust, safety, and genuine care. Whether one on one, or participating in our small pack adventures, the time is designed to let dogs sniff, explore, socialize and enjoy the trails, beaches, and neighborhoods that make our community in San Diego so special.
